Vintage 1940s Pink Floral Tilt Hat, Velvet Bow & Netting 。This is an amazing hat from the 1940s\'. The crown is medium height, and is taller at one side. It is surrounded by a black grosgrain band that ends in a bow at the back, plus a full spider veil, which can we worn as photographed, or placed on top. There is a magnificent pink fabric flower bouquet adorning the front. Tilt hats were popular in the 1930s and 1940s. They were worn at an angle and held to the back of the head by a strap, rigid ring, elastic band beneath the hair, an extended cap, or a combination of these. 30s Fashion certainly seemed fussier than the 1920s with its relentless ornaments of bows, trims and frills.
